How do you usually start your mornings, and what role does coffee or your favorite fuel play in setting the tone for your day?
My mornings begin early with my two young children, so the day tends to start with a sense of movement straight away. I like to give myself a few quiet minutes before everything gets going, just to get centred. I do enjoy a coffee, but it’s less of a ritual and more of a gentle nudge into the day so I can shift from home life to clinical work with a clear head.”
Women often juggle so many roles—career, family, self-care. How do you personally manage your energy levels to keep up with the demands of your lifestyle?
I’ve learned that managing energy is less about achieving perfect balance and more about setting realistic structures that support you through busy periods. With a clinic, a brand, and two children, I work best when I build small pockets of space into my schedule. Those brief pauses help me stay present in each part of my day rather than feeling stretched between them.
Mindset & Motivation: When you hit those days where motivation feels low, what’s your go-to ritual, mindset shift, or daily practice that helps you power through?
When motivation dips, I focus on reducing unnecessary noise so I can get back to what matters. I simplify my to-do list and give myself permission to move at a steadier pace. That usually creates enough clarity for me to reconnect with the important tasks instead of pushing through on autopilot.
Outside of coffee, what other habits, foods, or wellness practices do you swear by to stay energized and grounded throughout the day?
For me it comes down to consistency. Eating well, staying hydrated, and protecting my sleep wherever possible make a big difference. With two little ones, sleep isn’t always predictable, so I try to respect it when I can. I also make sure I get some fresh air every day, even if it’s just on the school run as it can reset your mind far more than people realise.
If you could share one piece of advice with women about how to fuel not just their bodies but also their ambition and spirit, what would it be?
I would say to give yourself permission to invest in your own wellbeing. When you’re juggling family and work, it’s easy to put yourself last, but your energy drives everything else. Protecting it through boundaries, rest, or saying no isn’t selfish, it’s essential. When you look after yourself, you are able to show up better in every part of your life.
