How do you usually start your mornings, and what role does coffee or your favorite fuel play in setting the tone for your day?
I’m a super early riser. I genuinely love mornings and I use that to my advantage. I’m usually up around 5:30, then I head to a Pilates or Barre class for 6:30, and I’m back home and ready to start my day by 8:00. Having that routine gives me structure and sets the tone before the world wakes up.
I’m not someone who needs coffee the moment I open my eyes. I actually prefer it around 10:00, once I’m properly settled into work. That mid-morning cup gives me the perfect little boost, rather than something I rely on to get going.
Women often juggle so many roles—career, family, self-care. How do you personally manage your energy levels to keep up with the demands of your lifestyle?
I’ve learned that I can’t be ‘on’ all the time. Even though I don’t have a family yet, I still juggle a lot in my personal life, just like most women do. In the last couple of years, I’ve really focused on setting clearer boundaries, like having set days in the salon, and separate days at home dedicated to social media, admin, and course creation.
I’m very protective of my evenings because spending that time at home with my partner is something I really value. So I get up early, work hard, and stay focused during the day so I can actually switch off later.
I’m also trying to be much more intentional with how much time I spend on my phone. Because my work lives on my phone, it can feel endless. It’s something I’m constantly working on, and honestly, it’s one of the hardest parts of the job, but I know protecting my energy has to be a priority.
When you hit those days where motivation feels low, what’s your go-to ritual, mindset shift, or daily practice that helps you power through?
I reframe low-motivation days as maintenance days. Instead of chasing big wins, I focus on smaller, meaningful tasks that still move me forward. I’ve also learned to listen to my body—if my motivation is low, it’s usually a sign that I need to slow down, rest, and recharge. Taking that time to recoup is just as productive as powering through, because it means I come back with far more clarity and energy.
And when I do need a little push, I remind myself why I started in the first place: the creativity, the independence, and the joy of building something that’s truly my own.
Fuel Beyond the Cup: Outside of coffee, what other habits, foods, or wellness practices do you swear by to stay energized and grounded throughout the day?
Simple routines make the biggest difference. I drink plenty of water, eat balanced meals, and take breaks to move or get fresh air. Even a short pilates class in the morning resets my energy. Keeping consistent sleep patterns and stepping away from screens periodically are non-negotiables for staying grounded.
If you could share one piece of advice with women about how to fuel not just their bodies but also their ambition and spirit, what would it be?
Do things that align with you, not with what looks good on paper or pleases other people. Fuel your mind and your body in ways that support the life you want to build. When you choose alignment over approval, everything else like your confidence, energy, ambition, falls into place so much more naturally.
I also think it’s important to strip things back to basics. When you’re eating well, drinking enough water, moving your body, and actually sleeping properly, you think so much clearer. Those simple habits create such a solid foundation for everything else.
It’s also incredibly powerful to have people you look up to, whether that’s mentors, industry leaders, or just individuals who inspire you. And being clear on your goals is essential. When you’re healthy, grounded, and mentally in a good place, you finally have the space to think ahead, set meaningful goals, and move towards them with intention. That’s when you’re in the strongest position to grow.
